I want to be your councillor to give back to our wonderful city. I believe that my skills, passion and ideas for Ely will make me a good councillor. Caoimhe Ní Dhónaill
Caoimhe Ní Dhónaill

My name is pronounced ‘Kweeva’. I’ve lived in Ely for three years and I love it! I’m putting down roots and buying my first home here.

I was born in Dublin and settled in the UK in 2014. I’ve worked for various companies and for myself.

I’m a business change leader at Cambridge University Press and Assessment. I find solutions that keep everyone happy!

For many years my career was in publishing, so I know the importance of communication in all its forms.

Previously, as a senior project manager, I was in charge of creating school books for students around the world.

This meant co-ordinating across different teams to make sure projects were delivered on time.

I think it’s very important that a councillor represents the needs of the community to the council, not the other way around.

I’m proud to make my Labour values clear. We believe in putting the community first.

As your councillor, I’ll always make time to listen.
