South East Cambridgeshire Labour
I’ve been campaigning and speaking up for many years. To let people glimpse the alternative future for our communities. Steve O'Dell

Local campaigner picked as Labour Candidate
My name is Steven O’Dell and I’ve lived in Bottisham for 24 years. I love the community spirit here. People really look after each other.
I live in a bungalow with my wife, we both have disabilities. I’m proud of my garden and try to do my bit for the environment. I love nature at its best and watching this in my garden takes the stress out of life.
I’m a cleaner for an outsourced company which is contracted to Cambridge City Council. We’re working every day to safeguard the public from Covid.
I enjoy being involved with community activities. I have been a member of my Parish Council for over 20 years and have chaired several Council Committees. I am at present the specialist councillor for Public Transport. I’ve learnt how Local Government works at all levels. And I am now a Member of the politically independent residents’ Campaign group A to B1102. We campaign to improve life for all of us who ride, cycle, walk and live alongside the B1102.
For years I have heard more of the same here. I believe we deserve a Council that is genuinely committed to delivering what the community needs. I want to be your Labour County Councillor and work with the local Community to make a difference.
