I’m Tim Andrews and I want to make a real difference to Fulbourn and surrounding villages. I took early retirement and have the time and energy.
I’ve lived in Fulbourn for 30 years. I love that we are a real community. We are lucky to have a proper high street with great shops.
New homes are being built in our villages. Is enough being done to increase school places and GPs? Some local services simply aren’t good enough. Fulbourn has a regular bus service yet other villages in our community deserve better. Furthermore, those services all need to be green to help tackle our climate crisis.
We’ve come together to help each other through Covid-19, and I want to harness the strength that our community has shown to build a better future. However, many families are struggling as they have lost their jobs or their businesses have been unable to trade. I would work tirelessly on the Council to maximise the support for our community. I also volunteer for a local homeless charity. It’s important that we look after the most vulnerable.
Fulbourn matters to me. I am a hard worker and will put my heart and soul into being a County Councillor. I believe that as a Labour representative I can make a real difference for our community. If you have any concerns or issues, then please do email or call me on 07766123991
